With access to all of our newborn props and either in our purpose-built studio or in the comfort of your own home, we will capture memories you will treasure for a lifetime.
The perfect age range for these shoots is from 5 days old to 1 month. It is easiest to get in touch with us in your last few weeks of pregnancy, you can book with us before your baby is even born, and we'll firm up a date for the photoshoot once baby has arrived. Ideally, we like to photograph baby within the first two weeks of life, but can get stunning photos at any time.
The safety of your newborn is a huge priority for us, which is why we have taken the time to complete a Certificate in Newborn Safety and hold a current First Aid certificate. Shooting in Auckland and Waikato locations, with a studio in Franklin, we can’t wait to meet your precious little bundle.

session Types
Your photoshoot takes place at our studio in Tuakau, Franklin. It includes all props, family and sibling shots - wrapped and naked baby. You will have access to all our props, wraps and outfits as part of this session type.
Studio session
This session takes place at your home, and photos will be taken around the house including family shots. Think curled up on the couch together, baby in their beautifully decorated nursery, bath time etc. A very limited number of props and wraps will be brought with us and available for use.
at home lifestyle session
Your body is amazing. Growing a new life inside of you is something super special and it's a time to be treasured and remembered. Book a newborn session with us, and we will gift you a complimentary maternity session.
This means not only can you rest assured that once your baby arrives we will capture all their incredible details but you'll also have a stunning memory of this time, when they grew inside you, and you felt them kick and move before anyone else could.
Alternatively you can just book a paid maternity shoot with us if you wish.

We want to provide you with an experience that is relaxed and fun. When you book with us we promise to walk you through the whole experience from start to finish. We want your photos to be unique and to tell your story, not be the same as everyone else.

From planning to artwork
How a shoot with us works
Every session with us starts with a consultation. Either over the phone, or we can catch-up over zoom. From what to wear, to where you'd like to display your images in your home, location planning, to your wants and wishes from the session, the pre-consultation answers ALL your questions, and allows us to get to know your family. We want your images to be unique, so we’ll personalise your session just for you.

The photoshoot
Now for the fun part, the actual photoshoot. Photoshoots with us are full of fun, laughter and cuddles. Maternity and family sessions can take place at any location you like within the wider Auckland or North Waikato area, while our newborn sessions can take place in either our studio or at your home. No matter where we do the photos, its time for you to relax, sit back and let us work our magic.

The ordering appointment
A couple of weeks after your session we will catch up to show you your images. We’ll help you sort through the images and make final decisions on what will look best with your home. Be it a single piece of art, a group of photos to display on your wall, or a stunning album, we'll make sure you get the perfect piece for you. We'll show you your images at their actual size so you'll be able to see exactly what it looks like before you buy. This is where you will order your images so we will ensure we schedule this appointment at a time when all the decision makers can be there.

The delivery
A few weeks later, your images will be ready for you to pick up at the studio. Once those portraits are on your walls, you can sit back and enjoy them EVERY DAY. For these are your precious kids —the ones who are growing too fast and who you will cherish to the end of your days. It doesn't stop there, all of our newborn clients are invited to join our grow with me club where we will capture your babies first year when they are changing the most. As part of our club you will receive exclusive products and client for life discounts on any future sessions with us.

Katrina was really quick to respond to our initial email and book us in for a session a few days later, making the booking process really easy. She was awesome with our bubba (who wasn't the biggest fan of day sleeps at the time), keeping her calm for the shoot. Frequently asked questions
Below are some of our most commonly asked questions. Want to ask me something else, then just fill out the form at the bottom of the page and I am here and happy to answer any questions you may have.
Family are welcome to attend all photo sessions with us. We love to photograph everyone with their newest family member, so siblings, grandparents, even your fur baby is welcome to come along if you wish, and no there is no extra charge to include any of these family members.
Our newborn sessions generally take around 2-3 hours. They are baby led. This means that our sessions resolve around baby. If they are unsettled or they need a feed then we take the break and sort them out. If your baby is really unsettled and we can't get the photos, then we will happily reschedule your session for another day when they are more happy. Thankfully this doesn't happen often.
Your session fee includes $100 product credit to put towards any printed images or products of your choice. We will help you work out the best images and ways to display them in your home at your consult and again at your viewing and ordering appointment. Prints start at $150, and include the matching digital file. Wall art starts at $395, digital packages from $695 and albums start at $995. Most of our clients spend anywhere from $400-$2000 on their photos.
We will work with you at your viewing and ordering appointment to select your favourite images and work out the best possible package for your budget and to get what you are wanting. You can also download our full product guide above to see all of our pricing. I believe in being complete up front and transparent about costs.
We are huge believers in printed products and encourage all of our clients to print their photos so that your babies can show their kids when they're older. I totally understand however, your wish to share these stunning images on the likes of your social media. Therefore all of our printed images come with the matching digital file. We also have the option to purchase one of our digital collections should you wish to just get digitals.
