This is something we talk through together during your planning call, so you’re never left guessing.
For all of my branding packages, I encourage you to bring a few outfit options, rather than trying to find “the one perfect look”. We’ll chat about your business, your brand, and who you’re trying to connect with, and I’ll help you choose outfits that make sense for you.
A good starting point is to dress the way you would if you were meeting your ideal clients — polished, comfortable, and still very much yourself.
Most people already have everything they need in their wardrobe, so there’s no need to go on a big shopping spree unless you genuinely want to. Small tweaks, layering, and a couple of different options usually go a long way.
On the day, we mix and match as we go, keeping things relaxed and flexible so your photos feel natural and true to you.
I have access to a range of locations around the Pukekohe and Franklin region, as well as studios in different parts of the country if a studio setting suits your brand better.
That said, many branding sessions work just as well — if not better — in your own space. Your office, workspace, clinic, studio, or place of work can be a great backdrop, especially if you want your photos to feel natural and familiar to the people you work with.
During the planning call, we’ll talk through:
- the kind of photos you need
- how you’ll be using them
- what sort of setting fits your brand
From there, we’ll choose locations that feel right and give you plenty of variety without overcomplicating things.
The goal is always to make the locations work for you — not the other way around.
I don’t want you walking away with a beautiful gallery and then feeling stuck or unsure about what to do next. That’s why all of my branding packages include access to the Content Design Club, where I support you in actually using your images across your business.
Inside the Club, you’ll find:
- simple Canva and design tutorials
- practical tips for using your photos on your website and socials
- templates you can customise for your own brand
- guidance on things like sizing, cropping, exporting, and keeping things consistent
You’ll also have access to Design Drop-In Sessions. These are relaxed, live online sessions where you can:
- pop in with whatever you’re working on
- ask me questions as they come up
- share your screen if you want help fixing or improving something
- work alongside other business owners doing the same thing
There’s no pressure to prepare or attend every session — you can drop in when you need help and skip them when you don’t.
The goal is to make using your photos feel easier and more intuitive, so your branding actually supports your business instead of becoming another thing on your to-do list.
