You’ve done the courses. You just haven’t done anything with them yet.

Visual Branding Workshops gives you both.

Sound familiar? You signed up, watched a few videos, life got in the way, and now there’s a half-finished course sitting in your inbox next to three others you also meant to complete.

It’s not that you’re not motivated. It’s that learning something and actually implementing it are two completely different things — and most courses only give you the first part.

Hiring an agency, a social media manager, or a designer isn’t realistic for most small business owners. So we do it ourselves — and then we get stuck, overwhelmed, or just quietly stop showing up because it feels too hard.

The problem isn’t you. It’s that nobody has ever actually sat down with
you and shown you how — in a way that makes sense for your
business, your budget, and the time you actually have available.

Visual branding, content creation, Canva, video, using your photos
properly — this stuff matters. It’s how people find you, trust you,
and decide to buy from you. And it’s learnable. You just need
someone prepared to walk alongside you while you figure it out.

That’s what this is.

Most small businesses can’t afford to outsource everything. That doesn’t mean you should figure it all out alone.

Every month we cover one practical topic — Canva, content planning, using your photos, showing up on video — and then two weeks later we get back together so you can implement it with me right there alongside you.You ask the questions. I look at your screen. We fix it together.

No more watching a tutorial at 10pm and hoping for the best.

What is it?

Hands-on workshops for small business owners who want to show up better online — without it taking over their life.

Here’s how it works

Week one — we learn it together
A 60 minute in-person training session where we cover the topic properly. I screen record the whole thing so you get the recording the next day to watch back as many times as you need.

Between sessions — you have a go
This is where the magic happens. You take what you’ve learned, give it a try, and see where you get stuck. That’s not a problem — that’s the point. Getting stuck on something real is exactly what makes the implementation session so valuable.

Week three — you bring it back and we finish it together
A 90 minute hands-on working session where you bring your laptop and whatever you’ve attempted. I’m in the room, I’m looking at your work, and I’m answering your real questions in real time. If you haven’t had a chance to try it yet, that’s okay too — this is where you’ll get it done. You leave having made actual progress, not just good intentions.

Sessions run on Thursday mornings in Pukekohe so you can drop the kids at school and come straight here.

What we'll cover

This series runs August through November, with four practical topics that build on each other. The curriculum is planned — but it’s not set in stone. If the group needs more time on something or there’s a topic that would be of more value, we’ll adapt. That flexibility is built in on purpose. Come for all 4 workshops or just choose the ones that suit you best.

August — Plan It
Build a simple content planning system that fits real life. Stop starting from scratch every week.

September — Build It
Set up your Canva workspace properly and create the core templates you’ll actually use every month.

October — Use It
Learn how to take one professional photo and turn it into five completely different pieces of content — plus how to take your own phone photos that sit naturally alongside your professional shots.

November — Film It
How to film a simple talking to camera video on your phone. What to say, how to say it, and how to batch film so one hour gives you weeks of content. No fancy equipment required.

You’re a small business owner who knows you need to show up more consistently online but never quite get around to it. You’ve probably got Canva but you’re not sure you’re using it properly. You might have professional photos sitting in a folder somewhere that you haven’t done half enough with. And you’ve definitely started at least one online course that you never finished.

You don’t need more information. You need someone in your corner helping you actually do it.

This first group is something a bit special - Founding Member Access

This series is a pilot — and I want to be upfront about that.

The curriculum is planned and I know what I want to cover. But the best version of this will be shaped by the people in the room. If the group needs more time on something, wants to go deeper on a topic, or there’s something that would be of more value than what’s on the plan — we’ll adapt. That flexibility is built in on purpose, because I’d rather deliver something genuinely useful than stick rigidly to a plan that isn’t serving you.

So the first group gets in at a founder rate. In return, I’ll be asking for your honest feedback along the way so we can shape this into something that works for real businesses, not just in theory.

If that sounds like something you want to be part of, I’d love to have you in the room.

Pricing - Join the series

Founding member rate — first group only
$200 +GST per month, billed monthly via Stripe.

This is a reduced founder rate for the first group only — from February the full price will be $250 per month. When you sign up as a founding member you’re committing to all four months. This isn’t a pay-as-you-go arrangement — it’s a four month programme and the commitment is part of what makes it work. You show up, you implement, you make progress. That’s the deal.

The good news? If you stay on after November, you keep your $200 rate for as long as you remain a continuous member. That rate is locked in for you and won’t increase as long as you don’t leave. After the four month pilot wraps up in November, continuing members simply roll onto a monthly arrangement at the same rate while new members join at $250.

And the content keeps evolving. After the first four months, new topics get introduced each month — so there’s always something fresh to learn, implement, and add to your toolkit. This isn’t a programme you outgrow. It grows with you.

Both sessions included every month. Recording sent after every training session.

Single month casual
$280+GST (founding rate August only) — come for the one topic that’s most relevant to you right now. Both sessions included for the month (the training & implementation). Just complete the form below with your chosen month and I will be in touch.. Subject to availability. Normally $320+GST

Sessions are kept small on purpose so everyone gets proper attention. Bring your laptop — this is a working session, not a passive one.

I’m a photographer and visual branding specialist based in Pukekohe. I’ve spent years helping small business owners look more professional and show up more consistently online — and the thing I kept seeing was the same gap over and over again.

Business owners who had great photos, a Canva account,
and all the right intentions — but no system for pulling it together,
and nobody to turn to when they got stuck. They didn’t need
another course to add to the pile. They needed someone to
actually sit with them and help them do it.

That’s why I built this. And that’s why I’m keeping the first
group small — because this works best when I can genuinely be
there for every person in the room.

frequently asked questions

Can I just come for one month?

Yes. Single month casual spots are $320 and include both sessions. Choose your preferred month at checkout. Subject to availability.

What happens after November?

The series pauses for December and January, then picks up again in February with fresh topics. Founding members get first access to continue at their locked-in $200 rate. New members joining in February will pay the full $250 per month.

What if I miss a session?

You’ll get the recording of the training session regardless. If you miss the implementation session, bring your questions to the following month — we’ll catch you up.

Where are sessions held?

In Pukekohe — exact venue details sent on booking. The November video session will be held at a local showhome for a bit of a change of scenery.

Do I need to know Canva already?

No. The series starts with the basics and builds from there. If you’re already comfortable with Canva, the content planning and video sessions will still be hugely valuable.

What do I need to bring?

Your laptop, your login details for any platforms we’re working on, and whatever you’ve been attempting since the last session. That’s it.

Will it just repeat the same content?

No. After the first four months, new topics get introduced each month. The programme grows with you — there’s always something new to learn and implement.
